These terms and conditions govern your use of the UKOPRA Competitor Portal and your participation in UKOPRA-sanctioned events, including boat registration and racing licence applications.

1. Eligibility

All competitors must hold a valid UKOPRA racing licence for the current season. Boats must be registered and approved before entering any UKOPRA-sanctioned event.

2. Safety Requirements

All competitors are responsible for ensuring their vessels meet the safety requirements set out by UKOPRA for their racing class. This includes, but is not limited to, immersion testing, safety equipment, and hull specifications.

3. Fees & Payments

Registration and licence fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed by the UKOPRA committee. All fees are payable online via the UKOPRA Portal.

4. UKOPRA Rules & Regulations

All competitors must comply with the current UKOPRA Rules and Regulations, which govern all aspects of competition, technical requirements, safety standards, and race procedures.

The UKOPRA Rulebook shall be considered the primary governing document for all UKOPRA-sanctioned events. In the event of any uncertainty or dispute relating to racing activities, the current UKOPRA Rules and the decisions of appointed race officials shall take precedence.

Competitors are responsible for ensuring they are familiar with and adhere to the latest published version of the UKOPRA Rules.

5. Code of Conduct

All competitors are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner at all times. UKOPRA reserves the right to suspend or revoke licences for breaches of the code of conduct.
